Business Loans Singapore (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates businessloanssingapore.com. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use and disclose it, and your rights.

1. What personal data we collect

• Contact details you provide — name, email address, and any phone/WhatsApp number you message us from.
• Business information you share — company name, industry, turnover, financing needs, and similar details relevant to a loan enquiry.
• Documents you choose to send us to support an application (e.g. business profile, bank statements).
• Technical and usage data collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, device type) — see “Cookies and analytics” below.

2. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and understand your financing needs.
• To match you with, and — only with your consent — refer you to, licensed banks and financial institutions that may be able to provide the financing you are seeking.
• To help you prepare and submit a loan application.
• To improve our website and services, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Disclosure to third parties

We are a loan-matching and referral service. To help you obtain financing we may need to share the details of your enquiry with selected licensed banks and financial institutions. We will do this only with your consent, and only to the extent necessary to process your enquiry or application. Those lenders are independent controllers of your data and their own privacy policies will apply once you deal with them. We may also disclose data to our service providers (e.g. email and hosting providers) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

4. Consent

By submitting an enquiry through WhatsApp, email, or our website, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes set out above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see below); note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer help with your enquiry.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics services, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it. These tools may process data (including approximate location and device information) on servers outside Singapore. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

6. Protection and retention

We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights under the PDPA

• You may request access to the personal data we hold about you and information on how it has been used or disclosed.
• You may request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
